VFS Global Launches Visa on Arrival Service for Travellers from India and 96 Countries Visiting Indonesia

 



In a significant move to enhance the travel experience and boost inbound tourism, the Directorate General of Immigration under Indonesia's Ministry of Law and Human Rights has appointed VFS Global as the exclusive private service provider for the country's Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA) system. This initiative is expected to streamline the visa process, making travel to Indonesia more accessible  for tourists and business travelers from India and 96 other countries.

The introduction of the e-VoA service is part of Indonesia's broader strategy to attract more international visitors and increase foreign investments, while also ensuring a smooth and hassle-free travel experience for those entering the country. "Indonesia is a highly sought-after destination for travellers worldwide, and we are thrilled to introduce a service that will make the visa application process faster, easier, and convenient," said Zubin Karkaria, Founder and CEO of VFS Global Group, in a statement.


A Simplified Visa Process

The e-VoA service allows eligible travelers to apply for a visa online before arriving in Indonesia. This eliminates the need for long queues at immigration checkpoints, making the entry process quicker and more efficient.
