YouTuber Elvish Yadav trapped, cobra venom was being used in rave party, report revealed

Noida Police recently made a significant breakthrough in a case involving the smuggling of venomous snakes, including cobras, for use in revel parties. This revelation came to light following a thorough investigation by the police, supported by forensic analysis conducted by the Jaipur Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL).
The case, which initially led to the arrest of five individuals, including the famous YouTube personality Elvish Yadav, has now taken a more serious turn with the FSL report confirming the presence of cobra venom in the seized snakes. The investigation unfolded a clandestine network involved in supplying venomous snakes for revel parties organized in the Noida area.

Allegations against Elvish Yadav and others implicated them in the procurement and distribution of snakes and venom for such events. According to statements provided during police interrogation, Rahul, one of the accused, admitted to facilitating the arrangements for revel parties, catering to specific demands for snakes and venom.

Furthermore, the investigation revealed connections between the accused and individuals associated with revel parties and snake performances in various locations, indicating a broader network operating beyond Noida. The involvement of Elvish Yadav, a winner of the reality show "Big Boss," has brought further attention to the case, raising concerns about the potential misuse of his influence for illegal activities.

Following complaints from local residents and animal welfare organizations, the police conducted raids at locations associated with revel parties and arrested five individuals. Subsequently, nine venomous snakes were seized from their possession and sent for forensic analysis.

The recent FSL report confirming the presence of cobra venom in the seized snakes has intensified the legal challenges faced by Elvish Yadav and others involved in the case. The revelations from the investigation underscore the need for stringent measures to curb illegal wildlife trade and protect endangered species from exploitation for entertainment purposes.

The Noida Police, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, is committed to pursuing further inquiries to dismantle such networks and ensure accountability for those involved in wildlife trafficking and related offenses. The case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by the illicit trade in wildlife and the importance of robust enforcement measures to safeguard biodiversity and prevent animal cruelty.
