Will things be easy for 'Emergency' star Kangana? Demand to stop the defamation case

Famous Kangana Ranaut is once again in the headlines. This time the headlines are not about his upcoming film 'Emergency' but about the defamation case filed against him by lyricist Javed Akhtar.

This war between Kangana Ranaut and Javed Akhtar started in 2020. According to the reports published in the media, Kangana had spoken a lot against Javed Akhtar during a TV interview. In that interview, Kangana had mentioned about her meeting with Javed Akhtar in 2016.
At the same time, he also said that this meeting was quite disturbing for him. After the telecast of that interview, Javed Akhtar had filed a case against the actress for making alleged defamatory comments.
Lyricist Javed Akhtar filed a defamation case against Kangana, then in retaliation the actress also filed a case against Javed Akhtar making many serious allegations. Later, on July 24, 2024, an Andheri court ordered to postpone the case filed by Kangana against Javed Akhtar. Kangana had once approached the court against this decision. If media reports are to be believed, the bench of Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Justice Manjusha Deshpande can hear this defamation case of Kangana Ranaut and Javed Akhtar on January 9. Kangana believes, if the case involving lyricist Javed Akhtar is postponed and only the allegations against Kangana are heard, then it will be injustice to the actress.
