Ranbir, Alia receive Ram Mandir consecration ceremony invite

In a significant and much-anticipated event, the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is set to take place on January 22, 2024. The ceremony, known as the Shri Ram Consecration, has gained immense attention not only in India but also internationally, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and various VVIP guests set to attend.
The initiation of Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony is scheduled to commence on January 16, a week before the main event. Ayodhya, the sacred city in Uttar Pradesh, will be immersed in the Amrit Mahotsav from January 14 to January 22, marking the auspicious occasion.

A picture circulating on the internet depicts Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt receiving an invitation card from RSS dignitaries, adding a touch of glamour to the event. This unexpected connection between the entertainment industry and political figures has sparked curiosity among the public.

To ensure widespread access to the historic moment, the BJP has instructed workers to set up large screens for live telecasts of the Shri Ram Consecration at the booth level. This initiative aims to allow the common people to witness the consecration of Shri Ram Lala, providing a unique opportunity for the public to participate in the spiritual event.

Not only focusing on the ceremonial aspect, the BJP is encouraging its workers to engage in social work on a personal level. From distributing blankets and organizing community feasts to contributing through donations of food or fruits, the initiative seeks to extend support to those in need, reflecting a blend of spirituality and social responsibility.

The main rituals of the consecration ceremony will be performed by priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi on January 22. A 1008 Hundi Mahayagya will also be organized, aiming to feed thousands of devotees who will gather for the grand consecration. Tent cities are being erected in Ayodhya to accommodate the expected surge of devotees, and arrangements for 10,000-15,000 people are being made by the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust.

Local authorities are actively preparing for the influx of visitors, implementing enhanced security measures, and making logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all attendees. The grand consecration of the Ram Temple stands as a symbol of cultural and spiritual significance, marking a historic chapter in India's rich tapestry of heritage and beliefs.
