Prabhas, Prithviraj and Team 'Salaar' are all smiles at success party

Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran cut cake as the rest of the team cheered for them. 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' released in theatres on December 22 and has been setting the box office on fire.

'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' is written and directed by Prashanth Neel. The film's second part, titled 'Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam', is yet to be shot.

The makers of 'Salaar' organised a private party to celebrate the success of the film. It was attended by Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, director Prashanth Neel, composer Ravi Basrur and distributor Anil Thadani, among others.

'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' is an action-packed drama written and helmed by Prashanth Neel of 'KGF' fame. This film marks the first collaboration between Prashanth and the film's heroes, Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumran. Apart from them, the film also features Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Mime Gopi, Sriya Reddy and several others in important roles.

In a recent interview, Prabhas revealed that the story of the sequel is ready and an announcement regarding the shooting will be out soon.

Produced by Hombale Films, 'Salaar' was reportedly made on a humongous budget of Rs 400 crore.
