FIR lodged against Nayanthara's 'Annapurnani', ruckus after calling Lord Ram a 'meat eater'

Actress Nayanthara's film Annapoorani is in the headlines at the moment. It is reported that former Shiv Sena leader Ramesh Solanki has filed a case against the makers of Nayanthara's film Annapoorani. He has alleged that the sentiments of the Hindu community have been hurt through this movie.

 The makers have insulted Lord Ram. Not only this, Ramesh Solanki has also called this movie 'anti-Hindu' on social media.

Ramesh Solangi has claimed on X handle that Nayanthara's movie Annapoorani is promoting love jihad. He has requested Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis to take strict action against this and register an FIR against the makers of the film and streaming platform Netflix. Ramesh Solanki wrote - 'At this time, when the whole world is celebrating the consecration of Lord Shri Ram.

The anti-Hindu film Annapoorani produced by Zee Studio, Naad Studios and Trident Arts has been released on Netflix. First- 'Hindu priest's daughter is preparing biryani after offering namaz.' Second- 'This movie is promoting love jihad. Thirdly, Farhan is instigating the actress to eat meat. It is saying that Lord Shri Ram also used to eat meat.
